WHAT IS AFTERPAY?

Afterpay is a payment option chosen at check out that splits your total payment into 4 payments managed by Afterpay. During the order processing on the Afterpay website, you will have a chance to review the payment amounts and dates before confirming your order. The charge on your bank statement will appear as Afterpay. 

CAN I USE AFTERPAY FOR MY INTERNATIONAL ORDER?

Afterpay is not an available payment method for international orders, even thought it might show as an option at checkout. It is only available for orders placed within the US and shipped to a US address. 

HOW DO I RESOLVE AN ISSUE WITH AFTERPAY PAYMENTS?

You can contact Afterpay customer service using their Get in Touch page here: https://help.afterpay.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. 

HOW DO I RETURN MY ORDER IF I PAID USING AFTERPAY?

You can return your order following our regular return instructions and you will be refunded when we receive your return. 

WILL THE SAME PAYMENT METHOD BE USE FOR FUTURE AFTERPAY ORDERS, OR WILL I HAVE A CHANCE TO ENTER A NEW PAYMENT METHOD FOR NEW ORDERS?

The same payment will be used for future orders unless you change the payment method. On the payment schedule page of Afterpay during the order processing, you can change your payment method by clicking on the payment method box, then click on “add a new payment method.” Enter your new payment method information and click save. You will be routed back to the payment schedule page for your review. Click “confirm” when you are ready to process the payment.

You can also change your payment method by logging into your Afterpay account and navigating to billing. After you have added the new payment method, select it as preferred for it to be used on future orders. 

MY CARD WAS LOST OR STOLEN. HOW CAN I CHANGE THE PAYMENT METHOD ON AN ORDER?

Login to your Afterpay account and click on “orders.” Select the order that you would like to change the payment method for then click “pay” on the next payment. Select “new payment method,” enter the payment method details, then click “submit payment.” 

For future payments, you will have to go into the order and select the new payment method to process each payment. If a canceled payment method is linked to a purchase that has payments pending, you will not be able to remove it until the payments are complete. 

HOW CAN I ADD A NEW PAYMENT METHOD TO MY AFTERPAY ACCOUNT?

Follow these steps to add a new payment method:

  1. login to your Afterpay account at afterpay.com
  2. go to my account>billing. On mobile, click the profile icon in the top left corner. 
  3. Click “add payment method” on the left, under profile. For mobile, click payment methods then “add payment method.”
  4. Choose bank account or credit/debit card
  5. Enter the information of your payment method and submit
  6. Choose the new payment method as “preferred”

Remove the canceled payment method if necessary. Keep in mind that if a canceled payment method is linked to a purchase that has payments pending, you will not be able to remove it until the payments are complete. 

CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER ONCE I HAVE CLICKED "SUBMIT ORDER" ON THE RIPSKIRT HAWAII WEBSITE AND HAVE BEEN ROUTED TO AFTERPAY?

You can close the Afterpay window and make changes to your order on the RipSkirt Hawaii website at any point before confirming your payment schedule on Afterpay.
